Terms and Conditions for $250 eGift Card Giveaway Competition:
Entries close 31st Jan 2025. The two winners are drawn on 1st February 2024. The winners will be notified by email, phone call, or through the contact information provided during entry within 2-5 business days after the draw. in writing, phone and email. Non-eligible entries will not be notified.
- Eligibility:
1.1 The $250 eGift Card Giveaway Competition is open to individuals residing in Australia and international countries that are not restricted with shipping from Australia.
1.2 Participants must be at least 18 years old.
1.3 Employees, affiliates, agents, and immediate family members of the competition organisers and sponsors are not eligible to participate.
- Entry:
2.1 Sign up to the AO Shop Online newsletter to receive one entry into the lucky draw.
2.2 Once you have signed up to the newsletter, entry into the draw is automatic.
2.3 Multiple entries are permitted; however, entry is restricted to one entry per purchase.
2.4 Entries will close on 31 January 2025.
- Prize:
3.1 The prize for the giveaway competition is one $250 eGift Card and will go to two entrants.
3.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for cash or any other alternatives.
- Winner Selection and Notification:
4.1 The winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the competition period. Winners will be drawn at random by Tennis Australia, in Melbourne, Victoria on 01 February 2025.
4.2 The winners will be notified by email, phone call, or through the contact information provided during entry within 2-5 business days after the draw. The winners must respond within two weeks to claim the prize.
4.3 If a selected winner does not respond within two weeks from the date of notification, or fails to meet the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be chosen.
- Privacy:
6.1 Any personal information collected during the competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the lucky draw, contacting the winner and shipping the prize unless participant has provided explicit consent for other purposes.
6.2 The competition organisers will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable data protection lawsand Tennis Australia's Privacy Policy available at https://www.tennis.com.au/privacy
- General Conditions:
7.1 Tennis Australia reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour.
7.2 Tennis Australia reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the lucky draw competition for any reason, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, or any other factors beyond their control.
7.3 By participating in the lucky draw competition, participants agree to release Tennis Australia, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, and its sponsors and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from or related to the competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
8.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
8.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia.
By participating in the lucky draw competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions and Tennis Australia's Privacy Policy.
