  • We're at the start of our journey but from the very beginning it's been important to us that we operate with the best interests of the people we work with in mind. For this reason, ethical sourcing is a key area of focus for Foot-ies
  • We've carefully selected a small number of suppliers ensureing that not only do they produce the highest quality products but that they don so in a safe, ethical and transparent manner. Our factories are independently audited by amfori ensuring compliance to a strong code of conduct and support for continued improvement.
  • The Generosity Collective
  • We have teamed up with @thegenerositycollectiveinc a registered charity that collects lightly used and brand-new clothing and create specialised "Generosity Crisis Packs" for people facing hardship in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
  • Foot-ies stands by the great work they are doing and hope to help them build a mindful and generous giving community by not only donating ourselves but asking our Foot-ies customers to consider doing the same.
  • Help them support individuals who may be fleeing domestic violence, in crisis accommodation, those who may be accessing residential and psychiatric support services, young mother and baby programs, youth homelessness and children in foster care.

  • Brief

    With the AO x Foot-ies Collection for the 2023 event we want to use Iconic tennis imagery and graphics to bring to life a fresh collection of novelty socks and sneaker socks never seen before

    We want to give the socks a nostalgic Melbourne feel tied back with the AO event colour palette to ensure every sock is a collectors item.

    Our designs will reference the latest of socks trends that are dominating the fashion landscape. We want to carefully adopt proven patterns and embroideries to compliment the use of AO brand colours and iconic logos.

     

    The Matrix delivers a careful blended mix of sneaker socks and business socks across both genders including smaller sizes for kids along with a gifting option.

  • At Foot-ies we love brining to life iconic things that Aussies love in our socks.

    Our goal is to bring to live not only the  tennis but everything else that makes the AO Australia’s most exciting and inclusive event in this country. Its about summer in Melbourne, eating great food sharing a drink with friends while watching some amazing music or just enjoying the activations and facilities the AO has to offer.

    We continue to challenge the design team to keep the environment at top of mind. We are very proud that our entire collection of socks is made from Better Cotton Initiative cotton

    Are we perfect? Not yet, but those mistakes we’ve made along the way have enabled the team to learn and elevate everything we do, to deliver something of premium quality that we are extremely proud of.
